Scanning Fees & Guidelines

A scanning service is available for 35mm slides and negatives using the Nikon LS-2000 scanner. Scanning will be performed by a designated operator. Output will be provided on a user supplied ZIP disc or CD (CDR or CDR-W). The maximum number of slides which may be scanned during one session will based on the total operator time required. We also have an Epson 1600 Flatbed scanner; complete with a transparency adapter for use in scanning medium and large format film as well as your older photographs and documents. Scans are done at no cost to BEPS members.

A computer with Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0and Photoshop CS is available for image manipulation.

Please read the requirements and policy before using the scanning service.
To arrange for use of the scanning service, contact one of the scanning Focals. Currently:

The Digital Imaging SIG is a joint effort between the Boeing Employees Computer Society and BEPS. Meetings are held the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. Contact Mike Kelley or Lenny Williams for up-to-date meeting information.
