Large Format Large
Format Camera Rental RequirementsAnyone
wishing to rent the large format camera must meet the following requirements:
- You must be a current
(paid up or Life) member of BEPS. This equipment is not to be used by nor loaned
to any individual not meeting this membership requirement.
- You
must attend the equipment orientation given by the large format camera Chairman.
Orientation is brief and may be completed at the time of equipment pick-up. Reorientation
may be required at the discretion of the Chair as new equipment is added.
- You must contact the Chairman to
reserve the camera and any accessories which may be needed for your project. Your
project must be approved by the Chairman.
- There
is a rental charge of $10.00 per weekend (Friday pm to Monday am) or $25 per week.
You may make reasonable arrangements for the pick-up and return of the equipment,
as necessary, with the Chairman. The rental fee only applies to the number of
days of actual use. This should not be misconstrued to mean that you may pick-up
the equipment, use it for one or two days and then not return it for a month.
- Payment arrangements are
to be made at the time of reservation. Normally, payment is made after the equipment
is used. Checks, made payable to BEPS, are preferable but cash is acceptable.
We have no provision for payment by credit card.
- All
equipment must be returned in an "as issued" condition - clean and properly stored.
Individuals are not held responsible for repairs or replacement of this equipment;
due to normal wear and tear.
- You
must report any equipment problems to the Chairman as soon as possible.
The Club assumes no responsibility
for the unavailability of this equipment for a specific date due to unforeseen
repair or replacement requirements. Board approved activities shall have priority
over the rental by individuals. Specifically, a previously scheduled large format
camera workshop shall have priority over rental by individuals.
